Monitoring and SOS

Monitoring — either person can turn on Monitor for a trip, and the Lift safety desk then sees the live route, the car and both of you, for that trip only. Everyone in the car is told, and nobody can turn it off once it's on. It's a comfort layer, not an alarm. Lift also turns it on by itself for some trips, such as late ones and a first trip between two people.

SOS — if you're not safe, press SOS on the trip screen. the Lift safety desk is alerted at once with your live location and will call you, and your emergency contact gets a text. The other person in the car is not told.

In an emergency, also call 191 or 18555. Lift alerts help; we never promise how fast it arrives.
